Over charged. Took advantage of me. If they didn’t know how to fix my car they should have told me no. Super unprofessional and its very unfortunate i have to leave a review. No one should get treated this way. My car was not okay to drive and i had to get it towed the next day from a local grocery store.. couldn’t even make it home. I felt unsafe and the fact they let me leave like that is scary. Please don’t reach out to me for “fixing” anything. I will be glad taking it somewhere else, I 100% do not trust this place.
Rachel, we are very surprised to read this review as we have never had you here as a customer in our shop. I'm going to assume you're a friend of Kasey, who came in yesterday. I'm the associate who helped her. When Kasey walked in, she asked me for a battery. I asked her what was happening with her vehicle, and she told me that her 2012 Fusion was really slow to start, that she knew it needed a battery, and that she just wanted it replaced. I offered her the $80 inspection, which pays my mechanic a living and fair wage to test the battery, alternator, and starter. I made it very clear to Kasey there were no warranties or guarantees if we went in and just swapped out the battery without testing it first. Kasey declined the testing, saying her roommate had her jump her car the other day, and since then it's been so hard to start. Kasey told me the vehicle is getting up in miles and she just wants a new battery, as it hasn't been replaced to her knowledge. My customer, a grown adult, requested a service. I advised her, as is my job, to purchase the testing. My customer declined. I performed the service as requested by my customer. Kasey was not strong armed into anything, was not coerced into purchasing this battery. She came in with a very specific ask and we performed that ask. I know I was ethical in how I performed my job with Kasey. I followed all the steps and made sure my communication was clear. I received the proper signatures and authorization on all work. I even have documented and signed, that she declined the testing that was recommended to her. If you have further questions, please call me at the shop, my name is Britney, I'll be waiting for your call. 858-467-9999. If you have no other questions to hash out with me, I'd request you remove this fraudulent review from our small business. The friends of Kasey have put in four negative reviews under names that have never been into this shop before in the last fourteen hours. This makes a major impact on us and the business we run, it is unethical and unfair.
