I have a Mercedes GL350, and it had some problems. I took the car to California Autohous and they made the diagnosis and I agreed for them to proceeded and repair. Also, the car needed the yearly service and I asked them if they would do that too, and they agreed. Once the car was done, on the way out I asked if they re-set the car computer that the car was serviced, and I was told yes the computer has been reset. However, a couple weeks later the work service light came on the dash board saying that the car is due for service. I called them, and explained. I was asked to bring the car back to reset the computer. I took the car back today and they checked and told that service was never done. They only changed the oil, and nothing else. They called themselves Mercedes certified mechanics. They came up with another thousands dollars to finish the job (service) that they didn’t do before. After I payed close 5 thousand thinking that service was done as we had agreed. Besides that, I had to pay for a rental car, something that Mercedes never charge for. I went to Autohous expecting to get a certified quality job and save some money. Unfortunately neither one happened, and now I’m going back to Mercedes where at least quality and hassle free service I always get. Plus a loaner car. I do not recommend this shop.
